I am sorry you are having problems. The library is not necessarily the decider or source of truth about when an employee exits or a student status ends. Access is determined by our loads from the student information system and our systems updated to remove students after graduation. The library's legal licenses from vendors & publishers only allow access for current faculty/staff/students. Most likely the enormous headcount involved with alumni and graduated students far exceeds the budget of the library.
I have passed along your comment to our library leadership team and strategically the library has been planning to look at package options of some resources for alumni. We appreciate the need and I know many students graduate every year lamenting the situation of loss of access to our immense digital archive. Currently the library's focus is expending our budget to offer access to University employees and enrolled students.
Every year around this time one our awesome reference librarians puts together information for students & others leaving Anschutz. It covers some tips and info about free and/or affordable options and things to think about.
